Be Social!
Feeling 100 times better today and seems like the hormones have left the building and I’m back to feeling fabulous with my life, my clothes and everything, thank goodness that little rut was short lived! Today I was feeling the need for something different a little bit of drama too my look and new exactly what I wanted to do. Sometimes there are pieces that hide away in my closet for years and rarely make it out into the real world but that I just can’t part with because I know I will want to wear them again someday. That is how I felt about the skirt I am wearing today. I dug through 2 different totes looking for it this morning and even ironed which is almost unheard of for me. I am so pleased with how this look came out though that it was well worth it!

Top: ASOS Curve/Skirt: Torrid/ Tights: Target/ Booties: Ross/Headband: Plush Boutique (Gifted)/ Earrings: Torrid (Gifted)
Today I incorporated a couple pieces that I have never photographed before including my pink puff sleeve top from ASOS Curve. I absolutely fell in love with this top when i saw it on the site and bought it immediately. I was hoping it would fit like most of their stuff does and ordered a size up so I could wear it as a mini dress but no such luck as it seems to run small. Good thing I orderd up or it would have been a return! I paired it with my Torrid pencil skirt that I bought years ago and tucket it in so you could see the defined high waist of the skirt which I think enhances my curves and makes me feel sexy and sassy. I gave the look a little pop with my Target zig zag footless tights I picked up last winter and a bit of edge with my Ross booties. To finish the look and add a bit of drama I accessorized with my gifted Torrid earrings and this great headband given to me right off the head of Wendy the owner of Plush Boutique after the runway show at Full Figured Fashion Week(end). It makes me feel like a present and what better for a cold and grey Tuesday at the office!
My mission this mornin was to wear something that made me feel sassy, was different from my typical work pieces, and that had a bit of drama and I think i totally accomplished that today, no wonder I’m feeling so good!
