Classy pieces of great quality and rich fabrics are my true love in life and I have been admiring Eliza Parker dresses from afar for a long time. I was hoping to maybe get lucky and get a new dress from her after the holidays with some Christmas money but I guess Christmas really came early this year for me! When Eliza Parker contacted me and asked me to do a review I was so excited and when I opened my package to find this dress I could have cried!

First off I must tell you that the fabric alone on the Eliza Parker Monaco Dress is amazing! It is so rich feeling and nice and heavy and the skirt is also structured beautifully. This is a dress that is perfect for special occassions and is amazing for winter especially. It is also such a great print in the skirt and a great stretch in the top that is meant to kept a curvy girl nicely covered and looking amazing. Lets talk a a bit about sizing on this beautiful number. Eliza Parker is very generous with their sizing, which I love, but it doesnt coincide with normal size scales so make sure you meausure and pay special attention to any of the notes the put on their items. When I measured I was coming across as a size 18/20, i am normally a size 20/22 but it also said to size down on this dress so I sent my measurments in along with my shipping info and told them to use their best judgement. They sent me a size 14/16 and it fits like a dream! Trust the charts and throw out your notions about what size you NORMALLY are, for me I am just embracing being a 14/16 in something for the first time since high school- gotta love it! lol This dress is absolutely perfect for me because it is classic and beautiful and perfect to wear to the office, to a party, to church, to a wedding or any special occassion but it is also functional, IT HAS POCKETS! Overall I am in LOVE LOVE LOVE and I think everyone should own this dress or something else from Eliza Parker, so amazing and a great way to treat yourself like the queen you are!
This dress came with a belt as well but while it looks great on Fluvia in their photos and on other people I have seen it on, it just hits a bit weird on me. I have a super long torso. I like the belt but I love it more without it so I shot it sans belt. I paired it with my black opaque Torrid tights and a pair of secretary heels I picked up at Payless a few years back. I thought the chunkier heel went well with the length of this dress. I topped it off with my simple diamond studs and my black hair bow from Forever21.
Check out everything that Eliza Parker has to offer and find yourself the dress of your dreams. Also follow them on Facebook and Twitter to keep up to date on sales and new arrivals! Tell them Stiletto sent ya!

I love this!! The black and white graphic print is to die for! And the hair bow is adorable
Truly truly that is a LOVELY dress, well made and delicious looking… and it looks amazing on you. The pattern is to die for… too bad I dont have 225 right now whine…
I saw this dress a while ago and loved it. i love it even more seeing it on you. Too bad it’s so expensive. I wish I had the money for clothing like this but realize that I can still look fierce and fatabulous even on a budget.
And, I must say you are one of those women I truly admire – you always look so well put together and made up and beautiful. I aspire to that every day but the exhaustion pretty much defeats that aspiration. Thank you for sharing all of your beautiful pictures.
LOVE that dress on you! It may become my Christmas present to ME!!!!
Oh wow you look gorgeous, I love this!
You look so lovely in this dress! It fits like a glove and like you mentioned, is so versatile, I can see you wearing it to a number of events and places. Beautiful!
WOOOOOOW!! This dress is truly the epitome of class, perfection, and style. Love, love, love it. I actually like it better sans belt. I guess because it has a sexy neckline, I don’t want anything else to obstruct the beauty. You look fantastic & I can tell that you feel great in it!
