Lately I have been loving getting glammed up with a retro vibe. Pin up and rockabilly culture is huge here right now and I am constantly on the search for flirty and feminine dresses that have structure and prints that are truly timeless but also on trend for the seasons. You know, I haven’t been that impressed with eShakti.
I’ve gotten some really cute pieces there, but the quality wasn’t great (cheap fabrics), and even with custom sizing they still didn’t quite fit right. The overall dimensions are fine, but they put too much ease in some places and not enough in others, wrap panels never sit quite right, and the shoulders scale funny.
I still shop there, since the fit is better than off the rack (my biceps, bust, waist, and hips are 4 different sizes), but I’m always kind of disappointed. Probably because the custom sizing gets my hopes up.
