This week I have come across some pretty interesting tools on the internet related to blogging, beauty, fashion, and even apps that are made for shopaholics like me. One specific app I was introduced to this week was BeauCoo which just might be right up your ally!
BeauCoo is a website and now Iphone and Android available App with the intention of showing pics of clothes on someone your own size! With BeauCoo you can discover stylish women with similar body dimensions and share photos of looks while you shop. Essentially this site/app is a tool to see items women have tried on in store and get feedback on how they feel about it. This is also a great place for posting and viewing outfit of the day photos with an ability to search only those with a similar body type and shape as yourself. BeauCoo also promotes and fully positive atmosphere that doesn’t allow negative comments, snarky attitudes or bullying, making for a happy little place in the world where the women who join can be built up and empowered by other women and help empower others themselves.

I went ahead and downloaded the App on my Iphone and decided to sign up for an account and give it a try. While BeauCoo has already been activated by fashion loving girls all over the world, they have just recently expanded their measurement charts for larger sizes and the BeauCoo curvy community is now ready to grow grow grow. Curvy girl takeover anyone?!?!
To create a
BeauCoo account all you have to do is connect through your Facebook account. From what I have seen it will not post without your consent but will simply verify that you are a woman (this is a network for women only) and will grab your friends list so you have the ability to send invites to your friends if you so choose. Once you are logged in you will be able to build your profile and bio which you just upload directly from social media. You will also then put in your measurements that won’t be shared with others but will simply be used to pull together a feed of users who are of similar shape and size. Then you are ready to go post your own looks and dressing room mirror shots, view, like and comment on others and begin building your network.
Sounds pretty groovy huh? I think it definitely has potential and the more women join the more useful and enjoyable this app will become.
