Hey Curvy Chicks!

4 posts in one day, I know it’s INSANITY but it is so super busy this week in the Siren household that I am just in go mode! Today I am running around like a mad woman wrapping more presents, finishing our holiday e-card, cleaning things up and getting ready for the festivities. We are celebrating Christmas a bit early this year since our boys will be going out of town with their Dad over the 25th which means the pressure is on. While doing all of these activities it is important to stay comfortable and I knew today was the perfect day to wear my new items sent to me by my wonderfully thoughtful friends at AdoraOm! The weather was also so beautiful today I decided to take a small break from my holiday business and walk my Golden Retriever Lucy and figured I might as well snap some shots of me being active in my active wear!

Curvy girls know how hard it can be to find quality active wear. I personally have seen this struggle and have been dying for a company to come along that made functional, attractive and quality active wear  that is actually made with the plus size woman in mind. When AdoraOm came along I knew it was time I would get to kiss my crummy cheapo, hardly able to fit over my booty old school gym clothes goodbye and get my workout on in something made specifically for my curves.  AdoraOm hit the nail on the head with their first collection of active wear for plus size women by offering basic pieces that can fit any active curvy girls lifestyle. They offered pants, tops and jackets that could be worn on the treadmil, in yoga class, while getting your Zumba on, or even just for a quick run to the grocery store with items available in a number of bright vibrant colors and design details that made them stand out and work out! When I recieved my lovely tangerine colored items I was estatic and instantly had to try them on. First thing I noticed was how easy and comfortable the pieces were, They have tummy control without feeling any discomfort, embrace the curves and draw attention to the smallest part of the waist with their design without feeling clingy and seriously are probably the most comfortable  pants I have ever owned. I recieved the AdoraOm My Game Face Top and the AdoraOm All About Me Pant (Regular) in a size 22/24W as guided by their size chart  and the fits is genuinely true to  size. The mesh on the My Game Face top is strategically placed to keep you cool while working out and left me feeling breezy and like it I could work up a sweat and still look good after! The lycra material keeps all my lumps and bumps in place without causing discomfort and the v-neck is flattering on “the girls” but is high enough that it covers up my sports bra and keeps my boobies at bay.  The All About Me Pants are my new favorite piece of clothing and are seriously so amazingly comfortable, well made and make my booty look AMAZING! I’ve worn these a few times already and all I want to do while wearing them is prance around saying “Look at my butt, look at my butt!” but I don’t even have to, these pants are so fab on the hiney I am getting plenty of attention, and the best kind of attention at that!  They are a great length, are breathable, wind and stain resistant and they have a internal little pocket perfect for holding my car keys while I’m working out.  Honestly I absolutely love my new AdoraOm active wear, highyl recommend it to any curvy girl out there and know that I will be adding more pieces to my wardrobe in the future.  I know that with active wear like this I will have no problem embracing a well dressed and active lifestyle in 2012!
