One of the things I love most about the new fall collections from Sealed With A Kiss Designs is how classic the pieces feel but still with enough simplicity and small modern touches that they can be dressed up to suit whatever your style may be. During Viva Fat Vegas at our Special Evening With Sealed With A Kiss we were each sent home with a piece from the new fall collections and I brought home the Audrey dress in grey because I instantly fell in love with its classic silouhette and all the potential it had for styling.

First off let me tell you that this dress is insanely comfortable. It is a Rayon/Spandex blend but looks and feels nice and rich.  The delicate pleating, the scoop neckline and the perfect short sleeves that aren’t too tight or too loose make this dress the best addition to your closet ideal for work, cocktails or Breakfast At Tiffany’s (Get it? It’s called the Audrey…). The Audrey ideally is supposed to hit right at the knee but on my 5’4″ frame it s a bit long. I will probably end up getting it shortened just a smidge for a better look, but other then that it is a great fit very true to size in a 3X and the fabulous quality we have come to expect from Sealed With A Kiss Designs.

The Audry is a very simple dress and the A-line cut leaves it open for a lot of styling. I kept it simple so you could really see the dress but I would also consider belting this dress to bring a bit more edge to the look and to give me a little less vulnerability in the tummy region. I have a pretty good sized muffin top and I rarely wear shapewear so it is not suprising that you can see a bit of my tummy. A corset belt and some textured tights could take this look to a whole new level and fit a whole different side of my personal style. For this look though since I was keeping it simple I decided to play on the classic sophistication but mix things up a bit with a modern twist. I paired it with black opaque tights from Torrid and wrapped a strand of big pearls around my wrist, then added my Ross booties for a bit of sass and topped it all off with my Torrid Zipper Flower headband and a little  dramatic makeup!

I highly recommend this dress to any fashionista as a staple in your closet that you can dress up different ways for different occasions! How would you style it?
