“Chub Rub” can be the bane of existence for a lot of curvy women. As ladies with thighs that touch and rub together as we walk rashes and irritation can often occur especially for those who frequently wear tights, or bare legs with skirts, dresses and shorts. Its not fun, doesnt feel good and is a real problem we are always trying to solve. I know for me I have battled the rub of the chub most of my life and have tried ever trick in the book. Rotating days of coverage with pants, using lotions and deodorants as lubricants, wearing bike shorts or cropped leggings constantly or just sucking it up and dealing with it, but no more! I was contacted by the lovely owner of SkinDura  a couple weeks back and was asked if I would like to review one of her products that she thought would be of interest to me and my readers, the SkinDura Secret Shield which battles Chub Rub and other forms of skin chaffing.

First off let me tell you that all the SkinDura products are 100% vegetable based, all natural and provide real skin protection.  Currently on a mission to live a more natural, primarily organic and toxin free lifestyle I took immediate interest in the SkinDura line and hoped that the product would live up to that interest and agreed to the review. Last Friday my SkinDura Secret Shield arrived in the mail and I have used it everyday since both for outfits with bare legs, tights, and with cotton leggings and yoga pants in different levels of activity and can now give you the scoop on this great product!

Secret Shield comes in a 1 oz tube with a twist up applicator and applies much like deodorant. It is aroma free and is an invisible solid. To apply you simple open the tube twist up and wipe onto the inner thighs where chaffing typically takes places. It goes on silky and smooth without and greasy, oily or unpleasant feel.  Once applied Secret Shield acts as an invisible breathable barrier on your skin. It is waterproof and sweat proof and allows your skin to perspire without removing the product as you go about your day.  For me this product came on easy and worked through out all my different types of days. I have now worn it out running errands, at the office and even at the gym and it did its job of keeping my inner thighs free from chaffing and the dreaded “Chub Rub” it also helped heal the small amount of previous chaffing I had before recieveing the product.  It left my skin feeling great and protected and I plan to use this everyday to keep my thighs and other chaffing prone areas in tip top shape!

The lovely people at SkinDura also included in my package a tube of another product they carry called Foot Fetish. As a wearer of all type of shoe but primarily high heels I feel like this product could save my life while breaking in new shoes! Foot Fetish works similarly to the Secret Shield in that it creates a long lasting barrier to protect the tooties from the rubbing, chaffing and blistering shoes can cause. It is also unscented and an invisible solid so it can be worn with any type of shoe. It also seems to have helped with some of my already pained areas and callasses. Foot Fetish comes in a small tube similar to one that chapstick would come in for easy carrying and use throught the many different shoes we ladies wear in life!

Overall I am very impressed with both the SkinDura Secret Shield and Foot Fetish and would highly recommend these all natural and reliable products to everyone! I am anxious to see what other products SkinDura has to offer and what they will continue to create in the future!
