Best Looks Of The Week- Taking Chances With Great Deals!

Be Social!

Happy Friday! I am still playing catch up from taking off Monday and Tuesday for finals and am working on my huge to-do list and basically it is OVERWHELMING! I even toyed with the idea of not going a Best Looks Of The Week post today but I decided that it is one of my favorite features, you all seem to enjoy it and the ladies I choose are too fabulous for me not to share them with you! So here we go! (Sidenote: After writing this I realized all of these posts have to do with ASOS Curve, I’m apparently obsessed lol)

First we have Em from Oh The Places You’ll Go

Em is simply lovely and this Curves In Curve look  showcases how lovely she really is perfectly! Em is one of my very favorite people in the whole blog world and is a complete sweetheart. She has great style, keeps us all in the know on worldwide fashion issues and looks amazing while doing it! Recently Em has teamed up with Sarah from Return To Sender and has created a new Fatshion Network, I Love Fatshion check out Em’s post regarding it to get all the deets!

Now about the outfit! I love the way Em looks in this great black dress from ASOS Curve  that she got on clearance for super cheap! She paired this with black leggings and black boots and is looking super chic and sultry in her all back outfit and  great red lip!

Next we have a well known personal favorite blogger Sakina from Saks In The City

Sakina is killin it in the Comfort and Style For Nothing look in another great piece from ASOS Curve. This great slouchy fox tee she picked up in clearance as well! I love how she paired the slouchy tee with her tight black mini skirt that she admits to wearing a lot of the time underneath flowy skirts and dresses to protect her from wind induced wardrobe malfunctions. Sakina pulls this look together with cute jewelry and her oversized bag that I am absolutely drooling over. I love this look on Sakina and think it would look great on any fatshionista!

My favorite look of the week goes to wonderful blogger, makeup artist and fit model for ASOS Curve (told you I was obsessed) and one of my good friends Vanessa Reece

Vanessa always looks amazing but in this Skull Chick Plums It Up look V has taken it to a whole new level of rocker chic and has made my heart melt!  I love this Skull Tee from new look on Vanessa paired with a stretch trousers and that great necklace. What really take the cake on this look though is V’s hair and makeup. Her hair is so cute with its natural curl and her makeup is sultry but still casual enough for such a great relaxed look.

Well those are my faves for the week! Thanks everyone for baring with me while i got through finals this week. I have a month off before I start summer school and I am looking so forward to having some extra time to dedicate to the site! Candace and I are scheduled to shoot at 8am tomorrow for 5 new outfit posts and I couldn’t be more excited so make sure you keep checking back for the updates!

Best Looks Of The Week!

Be Social!

As part of the changes to this blog I will now be posting every Friday the Best Looks Of The Week! These posts will showcase some great OOTD posts from around the fatshion blogsphere, that I absolutely loved, would wear, and am totally diggin!

This week there have been quite a few great posts from all the bloggers out there but these 4 are my very favorites!

Bloomie from 30 Dresses In 30 Days

I love her blog and her style choices, she is always trying new things and taking chances with her looks. On this post she refers to herself and this look at Grecian Goddess and I couldn’t agree more I love this white tunic that is classic and great for spring paired with the purple leggings and those awesome jeweled sandals! Lovin this look and could see myself in it as well!

Amelia from Sound Bites:Ramblings Of A Recovering Food Junkie

Tu-Tu Cool!  I am loving this look, with the pink tu tu, black sweater, black tights and the great pearl bracelet. Amelia took a risk for herself with this one and it definitely paid off. I LOVE IT! She always has killer style and her blog is an intimate and extremely well written must read!

Sakina from Saks In The City

I just can’t get enough! Ok we  all know Sakina is one of my fashion icons, and is a sweetheart too. I am always drooling over her looks and her wonderful  qualities! This outfit inspired me to order some harem pants this last week that are very similar to her great blue carrot pants that unfortunately I couldn’t get shipped to the US. Her red strappy heels complete this outfit for Spring and doesn’t she just look fab? Oh also make sure you check out her vlogs at Vogue Italia as well!

Olivia from An Olive A Day

Oh hey, Its me again. Olivia always has a great look that is understated in a completely fashionable way. She is one of those girls that great  fashion appears effortless for and I am always checking her site for great looks! This SJP Bitten dress has me smitten! I love the bow accent and her Old Navy Cardigan and Thomas Paul bag pull this look together so well for a day out and about!

Thats it for this week, check back next Friday to see who’s looking fierce in the blogsphere!

xoxo

Back To Your Regulary Scheduled Positive Natured Programming: Vogue Italia Curvy

Be Social!

Now that I’ve got that rant out of my system we can get back to business.

There has been some great size positive mojo going around and I wanted to let you know about something awesome!

Vogue Italia has launched their new website and it has a section titled Vogue Curvy. Gabi from Young, Fat & Fabulous and Sakina from Saks In The City have been put on as vloggers for the site and this is a great day for plus sized fashionista’s everywhere! I couldn’t think of two fat fashion bloggers more deserving so make sure you go check them out and congratulate them!

I remember a couple seasons back on America’s Next Top Model when one of the bitchier girls Renee stated to one of her plus sized contestants that “No plus sized model would ever be on the cover of Vogue”. Well Renee this may not be a cover but it is one step closer to the dream and to you eating your words.

Way to go Vogue Italia and Gabi and Sakina!

I will posting a vlog myself this week  letting you know what I am up to as of late and some of the good mojo surrounding myself as well!

Keep thinking positive and keep thinking change, its all coming our way!
