Hope everyone is having a wonderful Tuesday! Lately I have been all about inexpensive pieces that feel young, fresh and perfect for Spring. Pieces that are loose fitting, airy and light but still have textures and details that keep it interesting are what I am all about right now. What I Wore: “So Happy Together”

I have a super busy day today so this is gonna be a quickie! I recently did a little shopping at Torrid and came back with these awesome shorts! I of course couldn’t pass on these due to their super sassy print but I also loved that they were from the brand Source Of Wisdom which is always a great fit for me. These shorts have a little stretch to them which is great for the fit and to keep them from hiking up on my thighs. WIN! Seriously fell in love with these beauties in a size 24 and have been wearing them every chance I get pairing them with different black tops and accessories that have a bit of a rocker edge like in today’s look!

Shop Til You Drop: Bring On The Brights From City Chic!

Lately I haven’t been perusing plus size fashion sites as much as usual (shameful I know)  and now I am finding myself almost overwhelmed with catching up and checking out all of the awesome new Spring/Summer 2012 arrivals that have been made available by some of my favorite curve friendly brands. This morning I hopped onto the City Chic site to see what I had missed and there were at least 4 new collections I had yet to check out and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised by what I found. While I have mentioned my love for rocking black pieces even in the warmer seasons I do also love some bright colors and City Chic has made my heart and soul ready for a Spring/Summer full of sunshine and brights that would make any girl swoon!
